What does TemplateTwin do?
Save and manage the company templates you want TemplateTwin to use. Our planned PowerPoint and Excel plug-ins will apply those templates inside the apps you already use. The on-page previews illustrate that experience.
Who is Tony?
Tony is your TemplateTwin, the AI design agent behind the planned presentation and workbook experience. Open Ask Tony for help with saved templates, supported reference files and the upcoming Office plug-ins.
What files can I use?
Save PPTX, POTX or PDF reference files for PowerPoint, or XLSX reference files for Excel. Each file can be up to 90 MB. Saving a reference keeps a copy in this browser on this device.
Will my content change?
Saving or managing a template leaves your original file unchanged. The Office previews illustrate the planned formatting experience; they do not change your documents.
Can I edit the result?
The planned plug-ins are intended to keep your presentations and workbooks editable inside Office. Browser transformations and result downloads are no longer available on this site.
Can I reuse my template?
Yes. Save named templates, choose a default for PowerPoint and another for Excel, and rename, replace or delete them as needed. They are saved only in this browser on this device. They do not sync across devices or teammates, and the plug-ins do not connect to them yet.
How long does it take?
You can save and manage templates now. Browser transformations are no longer available on this site, and the PowerPoint and Excel plug-ins are coming soon. We do not have a confirmed release date or processing-time estimate for the plug-ins.
How are my files handled?
Saved reference files remain in this browser on this device. Saving a template does not upload it for processing or AI review. Removing it deletes that browser copy and leaves your original file unchanged.
Files sent through the earlier web beta were uploaded to our test processing service, and their content and previews may have been inspected by a hosted AI service. Removing a saved browser template does not delete those past uploads. We do not have a confirmed retention period for processing-service uploads.
Are there PowerPoint and Excel plug-ins?
Both are coming soon. The plan is to manage your templates here, then use TemplateTwin inside PowerPoint or Excel for everyday formatting. The on-page previews illustrate the planned plug-ins. Your browser library does not connect to Office yet.
